Anzac biscuits

Today in class, we put our new kitchen to use by making Anzac biscuits. 

Anzac biscuits

1/2 Cup standard grade flour
1/3 Cup sugar
2/3 Cup desiccated coconut 
3/4 Cup rolled oats
50g butter
1 Tbsp golden syrup
1/2 tsp  Baking soda
2 Tbsp boiling water

1) Preheat oven to 180 degrees or 160 degrees fan bake
2) In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, coconut and rolled oats
3) Melt butter and golden syrup in a pot on high heat
4) Add baking soda with the water and mix until dissolved then stir it into the butter mixture
5) Stir butter into the dry ingredients
6) To prepare tray, grease with spray or 1/4 tsp of oil then add a sheet of baking paper over the tray
7) Place level Tablespoons of mixture onto the baking tray
8) Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden

    Really thought that it was a clever idea to write about this and put the procedural writing on your blog. Did you take any photographs of your ANZAC biscuits? Is there any particularly difficult part of the process that someone who is following your instructions would need to be careful of?
